Tips and questions

Tips

  • Add the venue as the location. Guests get a map link on the countdown, and the address goes into their calendar when they add it.
  • Use the notes for the details guests ask about, like “Black tie · RSVP by May 1”.
  • Add an end time for when the reception wraps up. On the day, the countdown switches to “happening now” until then.
  • Put it everywhere you share news: the family group chat, your wedding website (Share, then Embed on a website), or the QR code on your save-the-dates.
  • On the day, open it full screen on a TV at the venue for the last few minutes.

Common questions

Will guests in other time zones see the right time?

Yes, if you add a time. Everyone counts down to the same moment, shown in their own time zone. Without a time, it counts down to midnight on the date wherever each guest is.

Can I change the date later?

A countdown lives entirely in its link, so a link can't be edited. Make a new countdown with the new date and share that link instead.

What happens on the wedding day?

At the start time it celebrates with the theme's animation. If you added an end time, it then shows "happening now" and counts down to the end of the celebration.
