Tips and questions
Tips
- Enter the original date, not this year’s. The countdown works out the next anniversary and its number by itself.
- Plan a surprise? Make it for your partner, add a message like “Another year of us”, and send it the morning of.
- Booked a dinner? Make a second countdown for that evening with the time and the restaurant as the location, so the map is one tap away.
- One link lasts for years. After the day, it moves on to the next anniversary, so it’s worth saving to your phone’s home screen.
Common questions
Which date should I enter?
The original date, like your wedding day or the day you met. It counts down to the next anniversary and shows which one it is, like "10th".
Does it work for dating anniversaries too?
Yes. Any date works: a first date, the day you got engaged, or the day you moved in together.
Will it repeat in my calendar?
Yes. Added to Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook (with the .ics file), it becomes a yearly event. Outlook.com adds just the next one.
